Lanigan’s Bar & Restaurant is a family run Traditional Irish Bar which boasts the largest LED video wall in Ireland for all your sporting events. We have Live Music 7 nights a week and Irish Cuisine served until 9pm each evening.

The team at Lanigan’s work very hard to ensure that your time with us is always memorable whether it is a long-planned special occasion or you are just dropping in for a quiet drink and a chat. Lanigan’s Main Bar

Our Main Bar seats up to 64 persons for dining with a further 30 persons at the bar. It is a focal point for conversation, traditional Irish music and bar food of excellent quality and value. A warm Welcome will always await you once you enter through our doors. We host the Best Line up in Live Entertainment to be found in Kilkenny City.

Lanigan’s Legends Bar

Lanigans Legends Hurling Bar is regarded as Ireland’s only Hurling Bar Museum. Legends is Kilkenny’s only bar dedicated to the Legends that have played the game of hurling (Our national sport) – past and present. The Legends Bar is available for private functions A must for any Hurling enthusiast. Leading from Legends Bar is St Mary’s Lane which is a designated smoking area where you can immerse in 800 years of history at the site of The Medieval Mile Museum.
