Lanigan's Bar & Restaurant has been part of Kilkenny life for generations. You'll find us at 28 Rose Inn Street, Kilkenny city centre — 2 minutes from Kilkenny Castle and beside the Medieval Mile Museum. A family-run pub at one of the city's most welcoming addresses. Kilkenny has changed around us, but the welcome hasn't.

What sport does Lanigan's show?
Lanigan's has four televisions showing two different sets of matches at any one time. Irish sport takes priority — hurling and football are always on when live — but big soccer matches, rugby internationals, golf and horse racing are all shown when they're on. It's generally first come first served, or whichever match is most in demand on the day.
Does Lanigan's have a late bar?
Yes. Lanigan's late bar runs Friday and Saturday until 2am, and Sunday until 1:30am. It takes place in the same bar used during the day — no separate room or entry charge. Entry is usually free and the atmosphere carries on from the evening's live music.
